Microsoft Office 2019 is finally ready for use with a one-time purchase option for both Windows and Mac systems. The company has made many changes and have done this by virtue of adding new and unique features in Office 2019. Office 365 is one of the most used versions of Microsoft Office. According to the company, Office 2019 is essential for customers to keep apps on servers. In addition, the company revealed that there would be a subset of features identical to but not part of Office 365. The freshly released version of Office 2019 is an on-premise productivity suite.

You can download the Office Suite from the Internet on your Mac and Windows systems. Once the installation is complete and you have paid for the Office Suite, you will be able to use the Microsoft Office Suite 2019 without any further payments for up gradation. The on-premise Office 2019 offers some distinct features like Editor in Word, Designer in PowerPoint, Ideas in Excel, ongoing feature updates, real-time collaboration, sharing, etc.
Office 2019 is not directly offered for handsets; however, the users can still get separate apps in their handsets to achieve basic Office experience. Since the company has revealed the new features, let’s see what actually is new in Office 2019.


The Word application constitutes of a Black theme with learning tools with captions and audio description. Word also has a text to speech feature with improved inking functionality. It can be named as the ‘Speech feature.

Outlook has an updated contact card and by virtue of it, introduces focused inbox features. Outlook has support @ mentions with Office 365 Groups1.


The company has added Zoom capabilities and has enabled the users to manage 3D images within the program.


The businesspeople can take great advantage of the new Excel which is coming with Funnel Charts, 2D maps, and timelines. Using Excel, the user can publish the sheet to Power BI in the 2019 Office Suite.

The new Microsoft Office 2019 is available for commercial volume customers, but it will be soon available as the consumer version. However, if you are using the business subscription of Office 365 version, then don’t worry as your apps will update with the new release.
